About The Author
My first Lee Child novel I dove into was "The Killing Floor", and since then I've been converted into a true Reacher Creature. I unashamedly admit that my characters were inspired by what I read in Child's gripping books, but there's a bit of a twist in the tale. My protagonist is a tough-assed female who takes no prisoners, and she's a trained killer. Watch out Jack, please stand aside for the beautiful (drum roll)..., Alexa Guerra.

I have now read both Alexa books. The stories make for enjoyable reading, the early premise for the foundation of the stories require the reader to move forward without focusing on the limited reality factor associated with her actual fathers abilities and accomplishments that create the basis of the series. Once the story is focused on Alexa and her circle of comrades the story is very enjoyable. Book2 antagonist is so evil that I felt his demise was weak compared to his disgusting behavior. I was hoping a better example of what goes around comes around. That said I am beginning Book3, and I recommend the series to anyone that enjoys action stories about people who follow orders for the right reasons. It is a treat to watch Alexa grow in her leadership role and fun to see how she is continuously underestimated, leading to results that make for great reading.Product details

Riveting - I couldn't put it down as every page kept my nose in the book! And I can't wait to read the third book. I can't find words to describe this amazing writer and I thoroughly recommend him.
And the beat goes on. The return of the ten penny nail who has expanded her horizons and is rated a twenty penny nail. She is one tough Cheetah.....ER
Joubert continues with another fast paced action black ops storyline for Alexa and her team. All the characters are well defined and the stage is set for the next mission. I look forward reading about it.
It was okay. I would not really recommend this to anyone. The Sexual content was too much and was distracting.
This was the second book I read by Arno and I did not care for this story line at all. The first book was pretty good and I thought he might have some potential as a writer so I thought I'd give this one a try hoping he had improved. Maybe it's just me, but typos throughout an entire book just irritate me. And like his first book, he mixes up the characters. I thought it was me and had to flip back several pages thinking I missed something but it's just the author not paying attention to what he's writing or maybe it's his proof reader not paying attention. One minute they are talking to Lucy and then the next minute Fitch is there, which he wasn't. I could go on and on about glaring mistakes but I won't. If you just need something to read and can't find anything else, then download this book. Personally, I've scratched him off my "authors to read" list.
I really enjoyed reading the first two books of this series. Lots of action and suspense. However, the constant mixing up of characters (using wrong character names) by the author was VERY distracting. Looking forward to the next installation.
This is the second series of this story line.Altho she is billed as "The female Jack Reacher" I would have to disagree.Reacher is totally detached from what is required orf him but Alexa has to much drama in her life to deal with and this seems to cause her to hesitate in making hard choices when it comes to dealing with some or the enemies she has to face.A good series that I did enjoy,but really,Not Jack Reacher.
